Office Associate III – Elkton Police Department

This full time position provides administrative support and performs all records department functions. The position is the primary point of contact for the Police Department. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with the public, exercise discretion in handling sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate will be required to pass a background investigation.
The position requires a minimum of a HS diploma or GED from an accredited/state school. This position is a rotating shift: 8 p.m. – 8 a.m. with rotating days off and required work every other weekend and holidays. The annual salary is $33,191.00.

Maintenance Worker - Department of Public Works

The Department of Public Works has an opening for a Maintenance Worker. The individual will perform work in a variety of labor intensive tasks for infrastructure and related public property  maintenance and repair, under the general supervision of the Director of Public Works. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to a minimum of 36 inches vertically. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with others. Must be able to work with crews, and relate well with general public. Must possess and maintain valid driver’s license for class of vehicle subject to operation. Minimum education required is a high school diploma or GED from an accredited/state approved school. This is a full time position.
