ORDINANCE 5-2011 TO ADJUST WATER and SEWER RATES was introduced at the Town meeting on August 3, 2011,  for the purpose of amending the Code of the Town of Elkton, Title 13, Chapter 13.04, §13.04.290, Water and Sewer Rates, by adjusting the water and sewer rates for customers of the Town of Elkton to ensure sufficient revenue to pay for water and wastewater systems operations, capital improvements, debt service, and the purchase of water from other utilities.

The Mayor and Commissioners held a Public Hearing on Wednesday October 19, 2011 in order to obtain public comment regarding Ordinance 5-2011 Water & Sewer Rates.  Voting regarding this issue will be held soon at a regular Town meeting.
