Stormwater Education & Outreach
A storm water education and outreach program helps to promote a greater awareness within the community regarding the importance of minimizing storm water impacts as well as the personal responsibilities expected of them. Public support is especially important for the program when operators of small MS4s attempt to institute new funding initiatives for the program or seek volunteers to help implement the program.
The storm water management program has developed a small education curricullum for the Elkton public school district. These lesson plans and presentations are available to all teachers, mentors, churches, and community leaders within the Town of Elkton for use in their classrooms, assemblies, and youth activities. Please feel free to download any storm water education material below
